What is Move to Own UK?
Move to Own UK is a private matching and offer-building service for UK landlords with an empty buy-to-let and people who want to rent now with a separate option to buy later. A landlord publishes rent, option term, rent discount, and one future-price method, then reviews applicants who pass the same neutral verification floor. The platform does not rank applicants or choose a buyer. Tenancy and purchase option remain separate solicitor-drafted documents; lender, title, lease, insurance, letting, Right to Rent, affordability, and independent legal checks still apply. Buyers pay no option fee. Landlord decides who moves in and pays a success fee equal to one month of agreed rent, plus VAT where applicable, only after signed documents, cleared first rent, and key handover. Move to Own UK is owned and created by Wolven Tech and is not the government Rent to Buy scheme, an estate agent valuation, mortgage advice, or a guaranteed sale.
